    Responsibilities

     

    TUMI is seeking a self-motivated, highly-organized, and analytical individual responsible for supporting merchandising initiatives and product setup to deliver an enhanced user experience.  We are looking for an energized candidate that can partner with internal team members as well as cross-functional areas of the company.  The Online Merchandising Coordinator will assist in the continued optimization of both TUMI.com and Lipault-usa.com in collaboration with planning, product management, creative, technology, and third-party vendors. 

    He/she will maintain reporting on a weekly basis both on front end performance as well as stock replenishment and stock level recaps.  The candidate will assist our Copywriter in producing exciting and relevant product copy for our growing online product assortment.  The Coordinator will also be responsible for gathering requirements and completion of ad-hoc merchandising projects such as product rolling changes, new front end features, and more.  The candidate will perform User Acceptance Testing, perform frequent site audits, and report any bugs found. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain merchandising reporting on front end performance and stock level recaps
    • Work closely with copywriter and Online Merchandising Manager to enhance product copy and ensure accuracy
    • Work with customer service to resolve any product information discrepancies on the Product Detail Pages
    • Work alongside Project Manager and dev team to gather requirements and test feature enhancement
    • Work with 3rd party vendors to test updates pertaining to merchandising
    • Work alongside Product Setup Coordinator on gathering system requirements for ad hoc projects
    • Train on full product setup processes/procedures and aid in increasing efficiencies and automation
    • Validate and support weekly email creative focusing around product list page assortment and product availability
    • Assist in optimizing site search through synonyms and keyword redirects
    • Support monthly content site updates to ensure an enhance user experience
    • Perform UAT and daily site audits to identify any issues on the website
    • Open tickets with our dev team to report any bugs found
    • Assist with competitor research & analysis

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • BA degree or equivalent
    • 2+ years experience in Online Merchandising or Ecommerce environment
    • Business knowledge of online merchandising concepts
    • Working knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture
    • Experience in site search optimization and maintenance a plus
    • Knowledge of and interest in product copy writing a plus
    • Strong MS Office experience particularly within Excel a must
    • Ability to quickly adapt in a fast paced, flexible working environment
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
    • Self-motivated
    • Detail oriented with exceptional time management skills
    • Highly organized and results driven
    • Exception problem solving skills and focus on process improvement
    • Team player with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
