Responsibilities

We are looking for a dymanic Account Executive to grow and manage existing business relationships with key omni-channel wholesale partners. 

 

Responsibilities incude:

  • Maintain active, consistent communication with sales and buying personnel of Tumi distributors, retailers and travel retailers on matters pertaining to brand and sales development.
  • Provide field servicing (training, assortment/visual merchandising oversight) and local account management.
  • Conduct sales training seminars for sales personnel of all accounts on frequent, timely (to match product launch schedule) and systematic basis.
  • Oversee the proper execution of visual merchandising standards (including marketing collateral) at all Tumi points of sale.
  • Monitor product assortments, sales and inventory positions of all accounts, to ensure optimum sell-through as well as sell-in.
  • Conduct seasonal markets with accounts to review business performance, preview new product, and plan next season assortments.
  • Liaise with local key accounts and Tumi marketing to develop specific marketing programs and ensure timely implementation.
  • Complete Project Request Forms and Capital Expenditure Requests for all new (approved) shop locations.  Liaise with Store Design resources to ensure timely, accurate build-out of new locations.
  • Ensure that customer service infrastructure is functioning in all markets and act as primary point of contact for customers and consumers on all after sales service matters.
  • Meet with senior account management on brand development initiatives, including Tumi retail store development on as needed basis.
  • Maintain general market awareness and knowledge of account activities; monitor/communicate competitive conditions and product/design trends.
  • Follow up as necessary on local legal matters pertaining to Tumi trademark infringement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 years experience in field or related industry with major account background and a history of strong volume growth.
  • Business driver with the ability to understand and implement brand strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong training and motivational skills.
  • Proactive follow-up skills.
  • Strong confident first impression. 
  • Strong work ethic accompanied by a desire to grow with the company.
