The National Sales Manager will have full P&L responsibility to develop and implement both short and long term wholesale strategies in support of the growth opportunity and continued success in the Omnichannel / National Account channel.  In addition to maximizing monthly and annual sales performance, this person will communicate strategies for channel development to key stakeholders, managers, and employees.  They will also work closely with product management and visual merchandising teams to maintain brand standards and elevated consumer experience.  They with identify new growth opportunities within the channel of responsibility while constantly evaluating and developing existing distribution.


Responsibilities include:

  • Management responsibility for 5 direct reports, 3 account executives plus 2 brand managers.
  • Develop business opportunities for North America Wholesale in line with brand standards.
  • Crossfunctional collaboration within organization: Product Management, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Ecommerce, Customer Service, Real Estate & Construction
  • Maintain active, consistent communication with sales and buying partners, distributors, and retailers on matters pertaining to brand and sales development.
  • Monitor product assortments, sales and inventory positions of all accounts, to ensure optimum sell-through as well as sell-in.
  • Collaborate in developing the sales budget by business category, by account for the channel.
  • Conduct seasonal market meetings with accounts to review business performance, preview new product, and plan next season assortments.
  • Maintain general market awareness and knowledge of account activities; monitor/communicate competitive conditions and product/design trends.
  • Meet with senior leadership on brand strategy, product initiatives, and business goals and objectives.



  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10 years’ experience managing sales for a nationally recognized brand.
  • Strong communication skills, as well as business analysis and problem solving skills with thorough understanding of retail math and sales/buyer relationship.
  • Strong consumer orientation that shapes strategy to meet evolving needs and expectation.
  • A proven ability to manage and direct others while working with senior management is essential.
