This person will be responsible for numerous construction management related tasks including pre-construction coordination, drawing approval, project execution, close out, financial management, and complete projects on time and within budget to achieve financial control and profit goals for each project.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage the full cycle of retail new store and remodel construction projects including pre-construction, shop drawing approval, construction, store turnover, closeout, and post-construction services
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to ensure projects are completed cost effectively within budget and timeline expectations
  • Manage the physical construction of multiple projects, monitor progress, process contracts and payments, facilitate communication between team members, resolve conflicts, negotiate disputes
  • Coordinate pre-construction due diligence, liaise with architects and landlords for drawing approval
  • Lease review
  • Review and approve project architectural drawings, and owner supplied shop drawings
  • Conduct bid review, negotiate contracts, procure owner supplied items
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, provide updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Travel to construction sites to qualify general contractor progress, completion and quality, coordinate store turnover
  • Manage project budget costs and update reports
  • Review and approve change orders, negotiate disputes
  • Approve invoices and payments
  • Develop and distribute punch lists, ensure punch list completion
  • Complete close out documents required for payment of landlord tenant allowances
  • Manage and maintain project as built drawings
  • Facilitate communication with all stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain critical relationships as a primary contact for vendors and subcontractors
  • Special Projects as assigned




  • 5+ years prior retail store construction project management experience (new store and renovations)
  • Degree in Construction preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects and construction sites simultaneously, as well as fast track projects
  • Experience managing luxury and specialty retail and wholesale projects
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, AutoCAD
  • Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Accounting experience a plus
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Travel required up to a maximum of 50%
